My cat Tumble had suffered from allergies and chronic upper respiratory issues his whole life, with little to no relief from medications. To say we were both miserable was an understatement and I was looking for alternatives when I met Dr. Birdwell. Literally three treatments later, the congestion was gone and has never returned. Today Tumble is on a regular regimen of acupuncture and an herbal supplement to keep it under control and we couldn’t be happier. Dr. Birdwell has also started incorporating needle placements for his diabetes into her treatment. Tumble loves his acupuncture sessions and lays purring for the duration of his sessions. Dr. Amy Birdwell is awesome. She did acupuncture on my older German shorthaired pointer and let him and I have 7 more wonderful months together. Now, she’s doing acupuncture for my 4 year old who has a lick granuloma. Hopefully, the acupuncture and laser treatment will avoid Annabelle having to have surgery.

Dr. Birdwell was absolutely perfect. She was very calm which made us feel secure in our decision to put Ella down. She arrived on time with an iPad softly playing calming meditative music. She placed the iPad close to Ella so she could listen. Dr. Birdwell did some acupressure to comfort Ella. While Ella’s sedation took effect Dr. Birdwell asked to hear stories of my favorite memories with Ella. When the time came to administer the final shot Dr. Birdwell remained calm which in turn made us feel calm as well. She was very gracious and talked about how much she had enjoyed meeting Ella and doing her acupuncture. Dr. Birdwell has brought so much comfort and encouragement to our family over these years. Even though we don’t see her often these days, we still consider her a part of our family. She has improved my family’s general happiness over time. We are grateful to have found her.
